Galway vs Finn Harps
The team that my boys play soccer for organised match tickets for all the boys in the U7s this evening. That meant an evening of soccer at Eamon Deacy Park in Galway for the boys this evening - I brought all three with me to give my wife a break.
They definitely picked the right game to go to anyways because Galway United ended up hammering Finn Harps 6-0 and were incredibly 4-0 inside 17 first half minutes, so the boys had lots to cheer about!
Here are my lads at half time sitting on the wall beside the pitch. They had a great time, especially the goody bags that us coaches sorted for the kids!
Some of the boys even got to meet Galway centre midfielder David Hurley after the match, but we had already left at this stage as my youngest (aged 4) was getting tired and a bit cranky!
Here are the two teams before a ball was kicked and Finn Harps still help some hope of causing an upset, that never transpired though with the Galway men hammering Finn Harps 6-0.
Some Action Shots
I'll leave you with some action shots from the game.
