Red sky in the morning, sailor's warning

I was up early this morning and was greeted by this gorgeous kaleidoscope of colours.

We've been spoilt here in Ireland with wall to wall sunshine now for two weeks roughly 🌞 ☀️ 🌤 🌅

All good things eventually come to end however and our mid to late April heat wave is no different!

The old expression "Red sky in the morning, sailor's warning" will come to pass later today as the rain returns.

Although to be fair there's not a huge amount of rain due, just a few light showers.

Here's the forecast.

My plants around the garden will be very thankful for the water from the rain.
