Out for a spin on the bikes while walking Coco

Best day ever!!!!

"Best day ever!!!!" is what Coco would say if she could speak. As ye know, walks are her absolute favourite thing to do.

My middle son was also keen to get out eager to try out his brand new wheels.

His two brothers have new bikes too since their birthdays last year, so everyone was happy to get out for a spin. It's also a good way to get them off screens for a few hours.

We are lucky to live very close to Galway city (ten minutes drive) but are still in the countryside, which is a perfect place to bring up our young family. The roads are narrow and generally quiet, so perfect for family bike rides.

This seat is perfect to sit on for a break if needed, but when Coco is with us, nobody gets a rest!

Meanwhile back at the house Loco was not impressed with my wife who dressed her up for Christmas!

Granted, she looked super cute, but she was not one bit impressed!

Not only was she dressed up, but there was cooking going on, which was making her hungry for some tasty human food!

Ah yes, the auld Turkey and stuffing! Sure you couldn't beat it with a stick!

Now the yorkshire puddings are hiding a lot of the hearty goodness, but trust me, it was a perfect Christmas dinner, even if I do say so myself!

The vegetables are an essential addition to any Christmas dinner, so for us, we had spuds, broccoli, carrots, parsnips.

The gravy I made from scratch with the giblets and some veg that cooked under the Turkey. It was very tasty, but my wife doesn't want anything to do with giblets, so she made instant gravy for herself.

The spin on the bike was welcome to burn off some of the Turkey and trimmings as well!!

Thanks as always for stopping by everyone

Peace Out
