Weekly ish Running Update....Medium, slow, slow, quick....

So four runs this week...

  1. The Park Run, not aiming for a PB
  2. Monday's slow run
  3. Wednesday's slow run
  4. Friday's intervals

Park Run

I intended to head out at a 5 pace, and end on a 4.20, taking off .1 per KM.

I did get faster every KM, but not by that much, NB it was HOT out there, which would have scuppered those plans, I saw two people walking in the last K - I don't think I've seen that unless for injury.

I ended up with this:

Monday's Slow Run...

IT WAS HOT! - Amazing how much heat reduces your performance...

Wednesday's slow run...

I was set to do intervals, but having spent a day on the river the day before paddle boarding and what with the heat I was a bit tired, so settled for another slow run.

This was the right decision!

Friday's Intervals...

Something a bit different - I warmed up running to the track, did 3 times 1K and then 3 400s and then about another two on the way back!

It looks like we may get a break from the heat soon. I've tried to avoid running when it's hot. You've had a good week though.
