RE: Why I left the PowerHouseCreatives community

in #lifestyle6 years ago (edited)

You know how when a professional athlete leaves their team and it gets all blown up and blown out of proportion across the media and then people start speculating and then everyone chimes in? People from all over the place start voicing their opinion as though they know what’s going on in the athletes mind and their opinion is to alter those thoughts? Am I rambling? I hope I’m not rambling because I’ve never done that, ever.

Where was I? 🤔

Oh! You can follow me if you want, I was gonna say that, don’t let me forget to tell you. I’m not new like you said you’re looking to connect with but we can pretend I am if you’d like. I’m only slightly rough around the edges... and in the middle a little bit too. Maybe on the top slightly, ok, the bottom, front and back, too, geez!

Really, though, where in the heck was I going with that opening paragraph?

See. Told you I don’t ramble which, by the way, I couldn’t imagine injuring a thumb!

Something, something, athlete, something, media, oh yeah!! I read the comments on this article and thought I was reading some professional athlete ish but I’m not—all of this excitement over a social media account, REALLY?! What’s next?? Bloodshed over polictical parties whom nobody has ever shaken hands with or personally spoken to? Nah... that’ll never happen.

This is that rambling thing I was telling you about in the first paragraph—the thing I said I never do.

Ps. About the fire for a spider thing, I think I’ll use that one now instead of my “when I burn bridges, I make sure the whole world sees the flame” because yours sounds a little sweeter, I mean, who doesn’t enjoy a good spider fire?

#satire <— for anyone who wants to bite my head off right now.

Anything beyond this sentence is justifiably a ramble, @traciyork, so I have to stop now—I hope you understand.

ROTFLMAO! What an awesome way to make an entrance reply, @dandays! As you're already aware, yes I am now following you, thanks to this. Well, more like I checked out your profile after reading this, got lost browsing through your recent posts, replied to one or two, saw a butterfly, and here I am back where I started this morning (hubby and I are about to hit the hay). Thanks for stopping by, and happy to have connected with you!

My pleasure! I’m just glad I found this one. And I’m glad we’re buddies now. And I’m glad to write more but I already told you I was gonna respond to that other one last night so I’m glad to leave this one now and I’m glad to go to the other one.

Gladdest is a wOrd, by the way. 😉 No, really, I’m going to the other now—watch..

I'm glad you pointed out that gladdest is a word - not that I worried, but glad I didn't have to wonder. And I missed replying to your reply on the other one the next day by an hour or so, but now I'm not glad to say it will be another day before I can gladly give it the attention it deserves. Aren't you glad?

Speaking of glad, you ever spelled it backwards? Neither have I and I’m not even sure what I asked that question.... What is it, Sunday or something? It must be Sunday.

I’m hungry. Ok, first I’m asking ridiculous questions and now I’m informing you of my appetite. Ima stop now before I do something completely in left field like ask what day it is.

THANK YOU <— bigger than that for the Resteem(s) @traciyork—I’m glad we met. Both thumbs are smiling. Good ol’ Plants strikes again.

Have I ever spelled "glad" backwards, as in dalg? Nope, can't say that I ha... oh, wait. Actually now I can say that I have... 😂 Although my usual way of spelling it is, "gald" because my brain gets ahead of my fingers most days... or is it the other way 'round...?

Lately, if it weren't for the interwebz, I'd never know what day it is - hubby has been out of work because of a shoulder injury/surgery, so one day tends to blend into another. However, after four months of being home together ALL THE TIME we're still on speaking terms, so that's gotta count for something, right?

And you're very welcome! Yes, @plantstoplanks is a gem, and a big...

THANK YOU KATIE

...to her for shining a light wicked bright so us moths can find each other. 🌞 🦋

P.S. I hope the moth comparison doesn't bug you, @dandays.
P.P.S. I keep parsing your name as, "Dandy" which reminds me of my favorite childhood book, Dandelion, so apologies in advance for any time I slip and refer to you as such... 😂
P.P.P.S. I haven't forgotten about the book I'm writing in response to your book...
