Changing one's destiny takes a tremendous amount of willpower especially against the background of living in a comfortable and easy convenience society. But it's doable nonetheless, the knowledge and tools are available, we have to seek it out and conduct a ton of experiments to find the right puzzle pieces for our own life and then execute consistently and relentlessly until it's done. The latter is usually the hardest part to conquer, like crossing a huge abyss.
Anything is doable it just takes enormous will power and planning. I think that's what most people are doing in the crypto world. Trying to improve their lot in life with an opportunity to make large sums of money that you won't get through working.
I've failed lots of times in crypto and lost sums of money but over time I've still managed to grow my overall portfolio.
Yes, I think crypto provides an asymmetrical opportunity for people starting from the bottom, so to speak, to climb the wealth brackets in a relatively short amount of time to both better their lives and also contribute to bringing about an alternative financial reality that's more inclusive and transparent than the old tradfi system.
I'll be forever grateful for stumbling into crypto :)
