A late night walk to the lake

I have been admiring the work of @tattoodjay, @erikah, @olga.maslievich and others on the photography lovers community for a while now, but my photos never measure up.

The other day I was very lucky to happen to be walking my little puppy Coco down beside the lake near my house. It was an incredibly clear night, without a single cloud in the sky and there was a vivid and beatiful crescent moon. Unfortunately I did not have my proper camera with me, but rather just the camera on my phone. I am rather happy with how the photos turned out, given that I just had a camera phone, but would really like to hear what you guys think about the shots.

Earlier That Day

Earlier this same day, we went out to Conamara for a spin in the car and a walk with the kids and I convinced my wife to pull in a couple of times so that I could photograph the amazing mountains and lakes. Here are some of those shots.

All the photos are my own, are unedited and captured on my Samsung A51 smartphone

Thanks a lot man!

You have just transported my back to Laos, where we met these other backpackers (from Leeds) and had a mad few days with them on a little island called Don Det on Mekong river. One of them always said Top Banana with a big Yorkshire accent and he used to have little Laos langauge nuggets with his big Yorkshire accent, like Khop Jai (thank you) or Khoy Hew Khao (I'm hungry) It's mad how a certain phrase can bring you back to a time and place!

Agree to disagree, that's only in your head! These photos are beautiful, so learn to appreciate them. I am also using my phone to take photos as don't have a proper camera, or to be honest, my camera can't be compared to my phone camera s it's 10 times worse.

You are lucky to live near such a nice place.

Thanks a million, I really appreciate that now.

I really like all things that relate to light, so photography would be a good fit for me. I love it as a hobby, just trying to take nice photos and thinking about unusual angles to photograph from etc, I'd like to learn more about the technical side too, about using light, dos and donts etc etc
