Wow I remember hearing Nirvana for the first time, it was Smells Like Teen Spirit and they were on Top Of The Pops. I have such a clear memory of it, as they made such a huge impression on me. I don't really have such clear memories of when I heard other bands. They were a huge part of my teenagers years and I was devastated when Kurt passed away, I wore a black band on my arm for weeks. Ya it was so tragic, I was too young to fully get it, but I remember my older sisters being absolutely heart broken, one of them had a ticket to the Dublin gig that never happened, it was like a family bereavement, such was the sadness. He leftsome legacy behind though and I've been listening to them since yesterday. Quality stuff, before their time.
