Well, I have to confess that despite all the music and musicians that I have met in my long life, I had never heard of Mick Flannery before nor had I heard his smooth and somehow gloomy & weeping music either hahaha.
However, of the six tracks of him that you have shared with us here today, maybe the one I liked the most was The Fact. But as you may have already noticed that I am not a music lover who pays a lot of attention to the lyrics of the songs, I have the hunch that I like The Fact a bit more than the others, for the simple fact that it reminded me of an old piano piece of mine that I composed 27 years ago and that I think it also has a bit of that somber feeling of lament and desolation.
And speaking of instrumental music without lyrics that seems to be the ones I usually share the most on Tuesdays for the #ttt initiative. Now let me tell you that this time I arrived in time for the celebration of the first anniversary of your splendid contest. And therefore, in an irreverent and disobedient way as always, I have already broadcasted on my blog a "handful" of beautiful tunes that, although they do not have lyrics, I hope you will love them anyway.
Cheers! and let the celebrations and anniversaries continue! :)
