RE: My son's first ever drum concert at the Black Box in Galway

That's so cool man, fairplay to him for getting up there and rocking out and fairplay to you too for introducing the lads to so many cool things, there's nothing like having a hobby like that and a way to express yourself creatively.

I'd say they were all buzzing once the tutors got out first to get things going, getting out on stage can be so nerve racking, but also kind of addictive haha watch this space.

I'm hoping to introduce Kaleb to a few different things, we have tons of instruments so it'll be nice seeing what he gravitates toward and if he wants to, we can get him some lessons.

It's cool that he played piano, guitar and a ukelle before deciding he wanted to play drums. One bit of advice I got a few years ago was to learn a second instrument and at that, one that's different to the current one, so I decided to get an electric drumkit and learn that. It's a cool instrument, but I'm thinking of getting a keyboard instead and trying to learn that.

Ya man, he got on stage not a bother, he was a bit nervous beforehand but you wouldn't have even noticed. He was great and loved it, good for them to be in touch with their creative sides and to encourage it.

Kaleb will have loads to choose from with both you guys being so musical, something to to look forward to. Don't blink though, our eldest is 10 now and those years flew in!!

Cool that you're multi instrumental too man, similar to sports, playing more than one from a young age will give you a great boost in proficiency and understanding 👌
