Which is your favorite cat, Cylce or Cot? I would say that the most photographed is Cot. Does it mean he is your favorite, sis?

I love both! Cyle is like an older gruff man; affectionate on his terms, but he is still my baby. Cot on the other hand is like a child who needs lots of attention and is in my face more so than Cyle. Cyle is from a lineage of kitties where there was some inbreeding due to a neighbor's out of control cat colony, so I believe that's why his personality is the way it is. He was born on the roof of my house; his mama brought the kittens down when they became more mobile and they played outside the patio door for weeks. Then, one day, she took them home to the neighbor's house. I missed them so much, but remembered the kitten of the batch that had caught my attention for he had the longest tail I'd ever seen!
In 2012, when he was born that May, that January, I lost my beloved CoreyB kitty. He was a Manx, grey tiger and was almost human in the way he would look at me with total adoration! He was always with me when I was home, and often, my son would see the looks CoreyB would send me and comment "that's ridiculous". It was as if he were 'in love' with me! He lost a 5 month battle with kidney failure. I was devastated. In August of that year, I was on vacation as I had had knee surgery earlier in March and wasn't really healing as quick as I should. I was sitting on a swing in the back yard, missing CoreyB and asking God for a kitty to help ease the pain of his loss. I got up and went out front, and there sat mama kitty with the little kitten with the tail. She looked at me and left, leaving the kitten behind. The kitten stayed but went under the pickup truck in the driveway. Despite the knee, I got some wet kitty food and got down on the ground and coaxed the kitten out. Once I got my hands on him, I realized he was a very sick little kitten. I took him into the house, realizing I couldn't reach the cat carrier, so I popped him into a cardboard box and taped it shut. I quickly got to the car and down to the vet. When she came in I told her I had a kitten in the box who was very sick. I wasn't sure there was any hope, but we had to try. We got him out, and she literally peeled a big scab like thing off of his nose; he was having trouble breathing. He immediately could breathe better! He was sick; a serious upper respiratory infection, but with medicine and lots of love, he healed, and grew into the biggest cat I've ever had! He topped out the scales at around 25 pounds in his prime! He turns 14 on May 25th this year. He often has a bit of a runny nose, which I notice gets worse in the winter when it's moist and rainy and the mold in the air is at it's worst. He runs like the wind inside the house and is the alpha kitty over Cot. Cyle sleeps a lot when I'm not home, but the instant I get home, both he and Cot are following me around. I figure they are bored with Mike at that point, lol! Plus, they both know I'll give a treat of a small whip cream dollop when I make coffee and later, feed Cyle some wet food to bolster him a bit. Cot gets to lick the spoon and clean up the crumbs. They are both seriously spoiled.
Do I love Cot more?-No, he's just more cuddly than Cyle is. When Cyle wants to be affectionate, he will get on the back of the couch when I'm sitting there, and come up and quietly purr while 'head butting' me. Sometimes, he'll lick my chin, cheek or ears (quite an interesting experience, lol) and then sleep snuggled up to my shoulders. He does not sleep in bed when we are asleep.
I guess you weren't expecting a book; but then, neither was I when I started this! Thanks for reading to the end! Much love to you sis!π€ππβ€οΈπ» !HOPE !LUV !INDEED
Ah... Cyle is affectionate! He is special, isn't he?
Thank you for the details about your CoryB. God did give you two cats to love, sis. Both Cot and Cyle are lucky, and they know that... that is why they don't leave the house!'
I got me teary-eyed! I can't help but miss my furbabies!'

I cried as I wrote that. I miss my CoreyB so much; all of my fur babies not of this world any longer, but especially him and Cinders, another special girl kitty.
No kitty can replace (or doggie either) any of our pets that have gone before. I'm just happy for the chance to love another one and give them a spoiled life. I cannot imagine my home without the pitter patter of little furry feet! π€β€οΈπΎπ’
