The start of a 4 day weekend for me-I am glad to be back on a normal schedule! I originally had said I didn’t want to go anywhere, but decided a trip to Costco might be a good idea. That way, I might could put off going back until February. So we set out.
It had been raining all night, to the tune of almost a half an inch, but for the moment, had stopped. There was a break in the clouds as we left. ( first picture)
When we arrived at Costco, I’d never seen the parking lot so full! For the first time ever in our history of shopping there, we had to drive around looking for someone leaving so we could get their spot! We also usually try to park in the outermost areas for the purpose of the walk plus most folks don’t like to park that far out, but not today! We ended up parking about halfway out and in the middle of the humanity! Crazy!
Inside, it was just as crowded if not more so. Patience was the name of the game, as we try to be polite and stay out of the way of others, yet the same courtesy is rarely offered to us.
Once finished with that zoo, we set out for our favorite Starbucks for some much needed refreshments! ☕️☕️☕️ Then came home.
