A dear greeting to all lovers of physical activities that populate the mythical community of Actifit.
On this beautiful winter day the sun found the company of some clouds in the blue sky overlooking the Gulf of Naples. The snow continues to whiten copious Vesuvius. Seen from all angles you can say that the amount of fall is really impressive. In the hottest year I have experienced so far we had the most abundant snowfall ever seen on the volcano.
Despite the morning cold I arrive on time to bring back to a friend of mine the PC in his tax assistance center to which it was necessary to change the hard drive since it was mounting an old SATA at 7200 RPM. Although it did not have the 5400 RPM it had become too slow for the increasingly expensive Windows 10.
Finished early with the CAF I returned home to have lunch well in advance and then I set off for Naples. Getting off at Montesanto station, I found myself descending along a crowded Via Toledo.
Arrived in Piazza Trieste and Trento I was undecided whether to continue towards the sea or to turn for Piazza Municipio but in the indecision I entertained myself to take a photo to the fountain of the artichoke. This square is a crucial hub of the city and has been redesigned several times to take the irregular shape of butterfly today.
When I arrived in Piazza Municipio, the Castel Nuovo, or the Maschio Angioino, appeared before me in a spectacular light that made the photo a beautiful postcard of our wonderful and regal city.
The fresh, cold air today is very dry and free of moisture. It is the ideal day to take wonderful pictures with your mobile phone. When I arrived in front of the Town Hall of Naples I noticed that the Certosa di San Martino can be seen so well that it seems to have been placed on the roof of the administrative building of the city.
To my right the picturesque Mercadante theatre, polished after a long renovation, accompanies me on the walk back from the port of Naples.
Before entering the stairwells of the subway I celebrate my #iamalivechallenge number 267 and although we are just half a day I recognized that I was already happy to be #alive and fighting to face this year that will reserve us many surprises. A year that we will make special in any case.
Before I leave you to my final sentence, I remind all my European friends that, tonight, just before dawn (around 4-6 UTC) should be barely visible to the naked eye the comet #Neanderthal Atlas C/2022 (#ZTF). You will find it in the area of the North Star observing towards the free north. Do not miss this show that is observed every 50k of years.
