A dear greeting to all lovers of physical activities that populate the mythical community of Actifit.
After a week of heavy rains today, the precipitation stopped unexpectedly, the sky was still invaded by threatening rain clouds and the cone of Vesuvius entirely covered by a thick snowpack.
Since I spent almost the whole week locked in my house, blocked by indigestion and flu problems, this morning, feeling perfectly restored, I took courage and walked towards my sister’s house.
I left in a light rain and after buying bread I took the first bus that passed through Naples on the fly. The impact with the cold was terrible because we came from 9 months when the temperatures were too high, in fact, before the arrival of the polar cold, there were night values of 8-10 degrees above average for 5 days in a row (12/14 minimum for a value that had to be 4,3). Today it was 6 degrees Celsius but it seemed much less.
Arrived at my sister’s house I had to do the shopping because he lacked a lot of things to complete the Sunday lunch and I set out because then she cooks appetizing dishes.
After we turned on the fireplace to make the embers and to heat the environment that was absolutely freezing living her on the top floor.
Late in the afternoon, my nephew, gave me a ride halfway that he had to return to Benevento. I continued my route home by subway and then by bus. I got off at the bus stop near the bridge on the sun highway to take this enchanting view of Vesuvius whitened by snow but, unfortunately, it was half hidden by a cloud in the shape of a ball, a very rare phenomenon to observe on the crater overlooking the Gulf of Naples.
And now, after an intense Sunday of activity, it’s time to return to celebrate my iamalivechallenge 260. The forecast for next week has improved considerably so that we could be back to being alive on the rhythm of a week ago.
