All the best to your son! I've dealt with many lasting aches of other people over the years, and being able to alleviate those is a huge, life changing Event. I hope it works out!

Thank you @beelshops! He's home now, recovering and HUNGRY! Unfortunately, it's clear liquids and then, depending on how he feels, soft foods tomorrow and going forward for 2 weeks. At the end of that timeline, I think he'll be at the grill with that steak he loves so much, salivating as it cooks!
