Smart working day, surfers, churches, threatening clouds and rough seas... in Chiavari, |🇮🇹 Italy!

Seize beauty everywhere!

Today was a hard day at work.
Well, when I say hard I'm exaggerating: I worked from home, at lunchtime video-conferencing with the work team, so I went out late for my daily walk.

I thought I'd go and photograph some snow-capped peaks, but the clouds covered the whole Alpine and pre-alpine range: appointment postponed until tomorrow!

This is the church of the Franciscans in Chiavari, very close to the river Entella, which separates Chiavari from Lavagna and which is often the destination of my walks.

I am also fond of the Santuario Madonna delle Grazie, clearly visible from the Chiavari seafront, even if it is perched on the mountain and surrounded by vegetation...

Today the surfers decided to enter the sea... I didn't have time to admire their acrobatics on their boards while riding (or trying to ride) the waves!

The sea was again very rough today, but not as rough as last night.
Threatening sky, gusty wind but no rain!

And a "fellow photographer" was experimenting with special effects, working on exposure times: I had a word with him, but work duty called me home.

Since I didn't have lunch, I anticipated dinner by going to see Navas, my Pakistani friend who is an expert in kebabs.

I haven't tasted his sweets yet, so I'll have to come back several times to see which one I like best!

I must say that Navas is good at it: the rolled vegetarian piadina, as he makes it, is really tasty!

Navas prepared my vegetarian piadina with a lot of love... YUMMY!

And, just to advertise him, here is the menu of what he offers in his small restaurant on the seafront of Chiavari...

For the high quantity of shots I'm taking these days, I think I'll soon exhaust the mechanics of my reflex camera... I hope you like them!

Yes, looking at how the locals were doing, I plucked up courage... otherwise I wouldn't have found the power to go in! (The water in the Rishikesch section was quite cold).
