Lazio are having a very successful season, they are ranked 3rd in the rankings, with just 2 points behind Inter Milan, but still with an outstanding match left to play. Therefore, if they win this round, coach Simone Inzaghi's team will rise to No. 2 on the rankings and be a direct competitor to compete for the championship with Juventus.

However, playing against a mediocre Verona team who are currently standing in the middle of the rankings with mixed performance, it is likely that Lazio will not have a hard time winning even with an handicap.
