Recovery Evening Run

in EXHAUST3 years ago

I just finished a 7.238km running that lasted about 0hh:35mm:34ss !

It wasn't supposed to be a recovery run, but as soon as I started, it was clear I probably should have taken a rest day. Lots of muscle fatigue, very very sore. I guess cross-training with a bike ride involves too many common muscles, and it doesn't prevent from taking a full rest day from time to time. But I kept going, just slower than usual and only for about 4.5 miles. Not the run I had planned at all.

The weather was once again quite different, with the temperature around 22 degrees Celsius. Definitely too warm for me, at least for March, or even April. But that's not what caused this fatigue. I just need more sleep, more stretching (in my defense, a couple days ago, I finally started stretching a little bit, a few times per day) and better diet. Why does it feel like I already said that. Oh yeah, because I did!

Anyways, I am pretty sure I will only go for long walks with the dogs tomorrow, so I can get some rest. But who knows, maybe a good night sleep and lots of stretching will fix me right up, and I'll go for another run. Ah, like it's gonna happen...

Keep Exhausting!
