What a lovely and mouth-watering post to wake up to! 😄 I love donuts too. I'm familiar with the ordinary ring donuts, the ones with fluffy insides and golden brown skin. But not the ones "filled with baked apples" or Cinnamon Twist. I'll have to look up the image of these online!

Thanks for the short history on how donuts became a popular snack worldwide. I love gists like this, if only to get my appetite up for the day! Hehe. And your final image turned out nicely. Very creative. Take care and have a great day. !PIMP 🙂

        First, I apologize for the late response. I think I've attempted at lease once every type of doughnut to see which one I like the best. Apple Fritter won; with Cinnamon Twist coming in second. Cinnamon is just a plain doughnut, but it's twisted and stretched legthwise. Just a personal preference.

        I learned new information about the doughnut also. It's nice to delv into the history of food we eat and take for granted..
