Government Agencies Admit They have No Idea How Anyone Should Even Comply With Some of Their Laws ft. Atlas Shrugged and Three Felonies A Day

in OCD3 years ago

People have this erogenous belief that we are living in some 1984 like dystopia. The truth is that 1984 has nothing on Atlas Shrugged when it comes to having predicted the things we are living through. Just as COVID-19 fear mongering and regulations were ruining people's lives, health and global economy, already financially messed up government institutions were finding various ways to fine good citizens.

At the time I wrote about these genuinely crazy fines. Things have gotten so desperate and communist style that these institutions are hurting their golden swans in order to make quick buck while feeling strong and powerful like a bully.

Example Case: Louis Rossmann

Louis Rossmann us a popular YouTuber who has a repair shop and a huge advocate for right to repair. He is living in New your City and that is where he conduct his business that is offering a great service to his customers based on everything I can find. This is how NYC treats a good businessman offering a real service at affordable rate:

A Fitting Atlas Shrugged Quote For The Occasion

“Did you really think we want those laws observed?" said Dr. Ferris. "We want them to be broken. You'd better get it straight that it's not a bunch of boy scouts you're up against... We're after power and we mean it... There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What's there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted – and you create a nation of law-breakers – and then you cash in on guilt. Now that's the system, Mr. Reardon, that's the game, and once you understand it, you'll be much easier to deal with.”

Three Felonies A Day: How the Feds Target the Innocent by Harvey A. Silverglate

If you don't have the time to read the book, that is fine. if you have an hour and happy to play a video at 1.25X speed or higher, these following material should get you up to speed. These are about things that have been turned into crimes and no wonder nobody has any real idea of hat is a crime and what isn't a crime. There are too many laws that are keeping people in fear.

If you want to take a quick look at mostly ordinary things that can get you a criminal record and jail time, let me help you with that. Learn these yourself and make sure to educate others and act against this madness when you see a chance to do the right thing.

Here Are 10 Serious Laws That You Might Be Breaking

  1. Feeding the homeless
  2. Illegal movie streaming
  3. Possessing a permanent marker on private property while being a minor or buying a permanent marker
  4. Farting
  5. Parents taking their children on a holiday during school days
  6. Connecting to a shop's WiFi while not being a customer
  7. Cursing while on a bus
  8. Writing "disturbing" content
  9. Betting with friends
  10. Oral/Anal sex

Some laws are even in opposition to other laws.
As in, you are a criminal.

Some laws are so precise that you can't ever comply. You are human, you fail.

And still, there are laws still on the books that make no sense in our modern era.

The structure is to incentivize more and more laws, and never looking at the results of the law, never updating old laws. Further, it has been taken over by lawyers, and its all written in legalese, not in anything that a man, who would like to follow the law could understand.

The law, in its entirety, should be no larger than the bible.

Some laws are so precise that you can't ever comply. You are human, you fail.

Yes, mainly the "Feeding the homeless" and "Farting".

Serously, who makes these laws? Nowadays we are living in a joke world.

Think about things like speed limit.

How do you know how fast you are going? What is the accuracy of your speedometer?
You could be rightfully, to the best of your ability, be following the law... but your are just waiting to be busted.

Further on road stuff.
In Comifornia there are two laws.

  1. You must drive under the posted speed limit
  2. You must keep up with traffic.

So, if the traffic on the freeway is going 70, what speed should you be going if the posted speed is 55?
BTW, you can't use the second law to defend yourself in court.

BTW, you can't use the second law to defend yourself in court.

But can you use the first law, if you break the second (You must keep up with traffic)?

The law, in its entirety, should be no larger than the bible.

This is a brilliant quote IMO. Law must me able to be understood by those who are expected to live according to it. If not you are either breeding criminals or making money out of it or (mostly) both. All of this madness is supported by MSM and dumb sheep.

The national socialists passed impossible laws too, then used those violations to arrest their enemies!

Our socialists worship the nazi party, and obviously plan the same arrests

Most people don't even know the real name of the Nazis and they have no idea the term "Nazi" is more of a retconned term.

Study History or repeat it...my Daughter is named after a German 'war bride', who was a close friend. We discussed how such terrible policies could overwhelm a 'civilized' country. She yold me their politicians were possessed by the Devil. Stunning similarities to today....

I have studied war History since I was 10, and I am stunned at the parallels! We are moving into a great Dark time, where many will be sacrificed; by those hungry for total control, SMH!

STAY SAFE, and prepare for the next Socialist 'Utopia'....

>:(

People just don't seem to learn. I still have a feeling that all of this will eventually made things better. We are living in better conditions than pre-world war times. After repeating much of the historical mistakes, I think we will build a better world until the cycle has to repeat itself. Much of the developments in cryptocurrency related technology gives me hope.

Best of Luck to You!

I am moving to the country, and preparing to take care of me and mine!

I have been advised to hold my opinions to be safe from the liberals. I feel if they shut me up, they have already won. If they come for me, things will get interesting...if they can find me.

I plan to thrive in spite of them! I'm a EE, and I own a machine shop, all will be off grid; and I can make anything I need.

Be safe, and stay blessed!

♡♡♡

That list is seriously messed up. We need all countries to go back and review all their laws and cleanse this madness into something sensible and turn the laws of a country into few simple volumes where and industry has to only take a look at a small book sized document to understand all the laws that apply to them.

Laws should be discussed like hard forks and have to prove themselves to be sensible and beneficial to users (citizens).

I think the point is that the laws are nonsensical so that up and down are both illegal. Control is attained by not providing a solution to get out or away from those that want to control. Each direction leads to them.

Absolutely disgusting. But it's true. Too many laws selectively enforced enforced means those in power can basically arbitrarily punish anyone whenever they want by digging into some "law book".

They can push these laws on citizens until the citizens realise that the gov cannot force laws on people.

I think The Iron Heel does a better job of predicting the end than 1984 and BNW, it just gets less press.

Rand did get that part right, too.

If you want to win in court, this guy has a good method.

Thanks for the book recommendation.

Thanks for bring attention to this every growing issue. Ignorance is key to some solutions.

Nice compilation of videos. I watched a couple...and 1.25x speed? Who has time for that? I do 1.75x-2x! 😎
