It's poetry time again! It's been a week since I last updated this series, so I hope you're excited to read the newest addition to this collection. Actually, I got the inspiration to create this pieces while I was taking some photos around our house. I'll be sharing the pictures as soon as I'm done editing them, so for now, please enjoy these short literary pieces from the heart.
POEM #12: "THE SKY & YOU"
Looking at the sky made me feel much closer to you
Though it made me wonder, do you feel the same way too?
Do my existence even cross your busy mind
Or will I forever continue to be this blind?

We all know how gigantic the world is, so somehow when we look at the sky, we realize that someone somewhere is looking at the same sky as us, and we feel much closer to that person. Or maybe I'm being optimistic? haha I bet in a pessimistic point of view, looking at the sky would make us feel smaller and the gap between you and the other person you're thinking of grows even bigger. Well, I personally don't want to think that way. xD
Since I haven't gone out for months since the quarantine started, somehow looking at the sky is a great escape for me. It makes my imagination float somewhere beautiful. It floats to a place full of laughter and joy... a place where I and my dear loved ones can fully fathom authentic happiness. <3
POEM #13: A BUDDING AND CRAZY LOVE
Just like a flower that's starting to bloom
I feel my heart racing; I hear it go boom!
Whenever I see you, I panic as if I'm about to perform
My feeling's overflowing like a gushing river during a storm

Have you ever experienced having a mini heart attack when you see the person you like? Isn't that experience adorably scary? haha Well, it's kind of natural though especially when the fact that we like that person has been lurking secretly in the depths of our hearts.
I remember teasing a bunch of my friends when we were younger. Whenever they see the person they like, they sweat a lot and just can't contain their overflowing feelings. It's funny. Welp, I have experienced such a thing, too... but my crushes way back then weren't that serious. They were just eye-candies to me, so usually in every class I have a crush. haha Thus, my friends don't take it very seriously, until when I was a working adult and the attraction has become more serious. lol
Anyway, it's cute to see people experiencing budding love. I find it amusing how they blush and just can't settle down especially when the person they like is around. It makes me want to tease them. haha.. oops.. sorry
