That's so cool. My husband studied astro/quantum physics because it was something that just interested him - he wanted to know how the world worked. He teaches physics now which isn't his ideal - well, teaching it is fine but it's all the other shit that goes along with it, right?

Have you thought about doing a free online degree, as and when? I thought the same for botany but if I'm honest I couldn't be bothered haha.

That's such a good reason to get into something and although it's a pity he never ended up working in the industry with NASA or whoever, his current job is equally important and I'm sure he instills a love for Physics and Chemistry into his students as best he can.

Nah... I just wouldn't have the time right now, possibly when I retire, I'll start studying again, for now life is busy enough!
