RE: As A Proud HODLer I Have Crossed 20K BLURT

in LeoFinance2 years ago (edited)

Instead of copying HIVE, BLURT is taking a different approach. Some of them are not my cup of tea (transaction fees). Others like the focus on community different "Vibe" and types of content on trending are something refreshing. I wish everyone the best of Blurting!

But Blurt still looks like the straight copy of Hive on the outside (graphical appearance). If they are trying to be different, then they should have their own website design too.

At least this is my opinion as a relatively old Steem/Hive blockchain user (I am using the Steem/Hive blockchain since 2017.05.17, so this is my fifth year on this blockchain).

Edit: Not just/only their appearance is similar, but also their reward method (7 days from posting, 50/50% to authors curators), the reputation (starts from 25).

Sorry, but Blurt is indeed the straight copy of Hive on the main aspects.

Sort:

Most Blurt front ends are using Steemit.com front end. That's just a surface level thing. Under the hood things are different. Blurt is a Steem fork. But they've changed a bunch of stuff. don't be fooled by simple looks.

But I do think Hive will do way better as a blockchain in future 😎

The surface level similarities are due to the project being a STEEM fork. They have changed few fundamental things like the addition of transaction fees, removing stablecoin (SBD/HBD equivalant) and now there is Ready Player Me metaverse avatar integration. It is not doing much at the moment. But the developers are actively building the project.
