Most people did not care about BLURT when it released. It was the more annoying blockchain to get started with all the transaction fees and starting back from scratch when it comes to posting and followers. Even the prices crashed soon after the early pump days. I stuck around the blockchain for a very good reason. It was not the technology; it was the community. I have had many great experiences on BLURT with excellent community members like @jacobgadikian @practicalthought @offgridlife @megadrive @eastmael @kamranrkploy @pedrobrito2004 @yehey and many others. Apologies if your name is not above. They were simply few names I could easily come up with.
Final Power Up Before 20K
It is not a large power up, but it did get me over a milestone where I have collected a larger part of the total supply compared to HIVE or STEEM. My HIVE account is barely past 10K because the competition for rewards there is much higher.
All Of This Was Earned; Not Bought
Everything after the initial airdrop was earned and I have not spent anything to acquire more BLURT. I have not sold single BLURT either. During the bear market where many of the prices had gone down, I was happy to see how BLURT had finally performed well over the last few months while mostly doing fine under the bear market. In fact while many including HIVE fell, BLURT managed to hold itself together at first.
What We Need For BLURT In Future
- Easy onboarding of new users
- More liquidity (making it easier to buy BLURT)
- More DAPPs, use cases and integrations
Working with Cosmos (ATOM) can end up being a great idea. It has the possibility of exposing a vast array of new users to BLURT. I don't know of any social media platforms on Cosmos. BLURT could be on to something extremely valuable here.
Different is Good
Instead of copying HIVE, BLURT is taking a different approach. Some of them are not my cup of tea (transaction fees). Others like the focus on community different "Vibe" and types of content on trending are something refreshing. I wish everyone the best of Blurting!
