RE: It's a Southern Thing | Mariannewest's Freewrite Writing Prompt Day 2190 | Prompt: mud pie (pastel de barro)

When I was a child, I imagined eating clouds, that the clouds could eat hahaha, I played with my grandfather's tools and imagined that they had life and history. They were characters that jumped through my grandmother's garden

Wow, how lovely eating clouds. Better than eating mud. The imagination of children were priceless during my era. Our economic status was low. didn't have television; mobile phones, internet, gaming systems, or expensive toys. Just plain 'ole imaginative fun.

Although, as an adult, I learned that people in certain parts of the world eat dirt. I believe it is clay dirt. And it's not a delicacy. It's a main staple.

Thanks so much for your visit and engagement. I appreciate the support. Take care and have a good rest of your week.
