Sean confided in the boy that he upset at being forced to eat green beans you cooked at least four times each week
I chuckled at this point in the story! What? Your story is both captivating and thought-provoking. It made me reflect on the changes in time and how they've affected our culture. Oftentimes, we debate (in my country) on the rightness or otherwise of your child protection services. True, children need every protection the society and the law can afford them but there are times when CPS does more harm than good.
Growing up, we didn't have the luxury of choosing what to eat. We gulped down whatever our parents put on the dinner table and thank them profusely after! Nowadays, I see parents give their children options and often, they pick unhealthy foods which eventually leads to poor health.
I felt a little sorry for Beverly. Her reaction is realistic and understandable. I don't blame Sean too much because it's the society he grew up that empowers him to report a case as absurd as this. I think what if truly the food was hurting him, then CPS would be right to look into it. Sean was simply feeling entitled and naughty! 😄 Delightful! !PIMP 💕
