Hopefully the parents can work out their issues. Talking to children and helping them understand is a good start. An extremely difficult situation has to exist when deciding to leave when children are involved. I don't feel that in all situations parents truly take the time to realize the effect separation and the next step, divorce, will have on children, opting to only focus on their own needs first. So many factors to consider.
