        He was too trusting. Apparently, the museum curator had other motives or else he wouldn't have retracted his offer to sponsor. In all business dealings, you almost have to have an agreement in writing. That way, no ill will or misunderstood intentions can crop up.

        Even if you do all this, something still may happen.
