What's up otaku(s)~!!!!
I am kind of busy today, so I couldn't create the continuation on my Major series review... but I'll try to make later if I'm not to tired from work. However, I made a fanart today during my break time and I'm excited to show it to you! (^_^)/
Duofie with Luffy <3 It rhymes!!! lol Pardon my face... just stressed out with life and work.. XD I want it to be weekend already~!!!!
I created this piece during my break time for work. It's a simple fanart, so it only took my around 30 minutes to finish it. I just used my sketch pad, markers and crayons~! Yay~!! Anyway, allow me to show you the process below. :)
It all started with circles and lines. Well, if I am to define my artstyle, it would be something a little realistic... Not 100% anime-style, but also not a hundred percent realistic style... although, it's also not 50:50 in ratio. lol
Draft... draft... draft... I have drawn luffy a lot of times, so it's easier to make a draft. I always imagine him with this wide smile, but since it's a bit realistic his smile isn't very stretched like in anime style of drawing. :)
Using a marker and some calligraphy pens, I inked my Luffy fanart. Don't you think he looks a little creepy on the first picture? haha Anyway, after inking the hair as shown in the second picture, he looked a bit better. Well, maybe when I add more color... he'd look even more decent.
For the first time in a while, I used little old crayons in coloring. Since I didn't have much time, coloring with crayons would be much faster... and it really was. I can color pretty easily, although as expected, there are more pigmentations.
To get rid of the pigmentation, I took out my ruler and started scratching some of them out. After doing so, the surface became much smoother which is of course a good thing. I wasn't able to get rid of everything, but it looks good somehow... well, at least for me. haha
To end it, I wrote my username, signature and the date today. It was actually quite fun!!!! It somehow took away some of my stress from work. My throat isn't in its perfect condition and it's so hot and humid even with the A/C on. Send help, please.. lol
Speaking of One Piece, I haven't watched it for a while now. The last episode I watched was 956, so I'm looking forward to catching up. I usually do this with One Piece because just watching one episode per week is too short and could be frustrating! Well, despite that, I try to be as updated as I can with the manga. My otaku life is so busy!!! hahaha
Anyway, I'll end this post here because it's almost dinner time and I have to get ready with my evening and night classes. Can I skip my job and just watch anime? Such a wishful thinking!
