Granola always makes for a healthy and tasty snack or for a hearty breakfast with yogurt. The possibilities of adding granola to many recipes is nearly endless!
The difference between making your own granola over store bought is it has No preservatives, no artificial flavors and not artificial sweeteners this is all-natural granola!
The other great thing about making your own granola is you can experiment creating unique recipes that please your own taste buds. For example you could mix in some chocolate chips to add a little sweetness. You could use maple syrup instead of honey to make it a vegan recipe and so many other possibilities.

Ingredients
- 4 cups old fashioned oats
- 1/2 cup pecan halves
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1/2 cup pepitas
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- A pinch of ground clove
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup maple syrup (or honey)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper
- In a large bowl mix together oats, pecans, walnuts, almonds, pepitas, sea salt, cinnamon and ground cloves.
- Pour olive oil and maple syrup/honey along with your vanilla. Mix together all ingredients until the oats are nuts are evenly covered. Pour granola onto lined baking sheet and spread into a even layer.
- Bake for 20-22 minutes, it will be lightly golden brown when you remove it.
- Allow to cool completely and store at room temperature in a storage container for up to two weeks.
