This is huge news, thanks for sharing! Maybe we can now allow crypto payments in the Splinterlands app!
Well...I wouldn't say epic won or not. One of the people I follow on Youtube broke down the entire ruling by the court in a 2 and half hour video. Basically Epic's claims were not supported but looking at things further, they could see problems in some areas. This area is pretty much what you are pointing to as in where they won due to it related to California laws.
However it also means Apple can terminate Fortnite and even remove the Unreal accounts from putting applications on the Apple store. Then again both sides will probably appeal so I expect more things to happen. After all the ruling itself said Epic did break the contract.

I have a feeling its going to cause more applications to start offering up alternatives now and Apple wont have a choice. It wont happen over night but it's a pivotal point to stopping apple from only allowing their payment services on their platform. I never believed in what they where doing in terms of that it felt wrong.
Even if I have some stocks at Apple, I simply cannot overlook the decision to ban Fornite from their platform. You don't stop something with words, but you put the right measures on the platform to restrict anything if you want it. Otherwise, if there is no abuse of the system, everyone should be free to compete and the resolution shows this. Another proof of what blockchains, crypto, and dapps bring to the table!
