I couldn't agree more, I always aim to double up those sneak and opportunity attacks.
Yet to get my head around Snipe, really should play that more often I feel!

I rarely use snipe as an attack but I often try to minimize my opponent's ability to maximize a snipe attack. I think a great counter card against snipe or sneak is Earth Elemental with Healing. The high health value in combination with healing is usually good enough to avoid being killed off in the first round.
Since most people do not execute a snip strategy, I bet they probably forget to defend against it.
Yes the Earth Elemental is a good card - failed summoner does the job nicely, and triage helps!
Mot to forget those monsters with taunt as they defend the whole team nicely. Taunting monsters with healers could take a lot damage.
