The Game of Thrones reality, 100 years before it, "an adaptation of the Tales of Dunk and Egg series of novellas" by George Martin. Have watched 3 first series, and they felt like 1 intro, but... I want more. It has the vibe of GoT, looking forward to the continuation.

I didn't read these novels either, but I read Game of Thrones books and it was just amazing. What is cool, the book starts almost in the same way as the series but soon you discover that the book and the series are 2 different things (and both are great).

As far as I know, it's an adaptation of a short story. So the episode length is OK, especially since they created a lot of new scenes to cover the whole plot.
