I love a banana cake, they are so yummy and a great way to use up old battered bananas. Plus if you don't have any at home, often they're dirt cheap in the shops.

Ya I love banana bread as well, putting the walnuts in was an experiment and they are actually a lovely addition.. I hate the idea of wasting food, so using up the old bananas and getting a tasty finished product is a serious win/win scenario
