Corona Virus 🦠 & Brexit 💭

Brexit is about to happen within the hour and the official celebrations are fortunately muted as nearly half the population voted against it, including me 😫

Meanwhile, my mother’s family are in Hong Kong 🇭🇰 and Corona Virus is spreading across the border. I planned to visit next winter after seeing the political protests but now I am more resolved than before. My father is visiting in March, less than 6 weeks away and he insists on going to visit his family. He’s 87 so I am quite worried 😧

Hi @fleur, can imagine how you feel, two major problems of the world happening and Hong Kong due to being close to China has probably more alert of the virus. Hopefully till March everything will be under control and you father will have safe trip.

As to Brexit, that is something that we also against in Scotland, it will be chaotic time, hopefully the country will be clever and not only think about their political career and benefits but about the country in whole :)

Hi stef1, it looks like Nicola Sturgeon will fight for a referendum and the EU have indicated that they would welcome Scotland joining! My husband was born in Scotland and we have half joked about moving there though we'd both have to retrain to join the teaching and legal profession 💭

Hey Fleur. Tell him to order some MMS (chlorine dioxide) online and begin some maintenance doses (3 to 6 activates drops with water) before bed every night. This will keep immune system strong. On arrival he could begin the starting procedure and continue taking during his stay. Then no risk of getting sick in my opinion.
