To the best of my Knowledge, UFM doesn't exlude topics but instead it puts focus on specific subjects like gaming and Steem projects.
Bilpcoin has its own store, (I have only visited it once) so it looks like they have some marketing going on for its community. Currently the coin isn't used to pay for its store related products but I think it would be a good idea to allow it as a payment option. Giving the coin a use case will seperate it from all the others.
