Metro Manila is almost on a lockdown because of Covid-19. The government officials in all levels are having emergency meetings on how to address the issue since we've had a case of local transmission. Someone without history of travelling abroad was found out positive for having the virus.
We are all awaiting for the government's decision and whatever precautionary measure they want to be put in place. It's making us all nervous but we, as a family, are trying to stay positive and hopeful that we will be able to get through this like the many other trials in the past.
I was thinking about easing the tension in everyone so I decided to cook a comfort food of the family and that is our late mom's version of Caldereta. I went to the grocery quickly to find the ingredients and I could see people hoarding stuff, they're probably panic buying. It looks alarming but I calmed down and went home to cook our meal. Later, since everyone is home because of the class and work suspensions, we will go out and buy some stocks for a few days. We're not panicking just getting ready for whatever that might happen. This is a testing time for everyone.
