I do not usually, very seldom take part in challenges. But today as I was going though my ListNerds emails I came across [WE101] Weekend-Engagement concept by @galenkp. I loved the concept and I quickly followed him.
What this post is going to include, maybe in a round about way, is two of his suggestions.
🕥 What age
What age would you like to be if you had the ability to choose a given point in your life, past or future, and why?
🕢 Slow or fast
Have you ever wished time would move more slowly, or quickly? When and why?
Now, being the Mr. Postivity that I am, What age? That is an easy one for me, and I am sure some people with think my statement is a cop out.
I would not want to be any other age than I am at this moment in time or any moment in time going forward. I am a sum of every action and everything I have done in life. Every experience. I like to think that I grow, even a little, every day. And I feel I need that in life. So the answer is the age I would like to be is the age I am now, the age I will be tomorrow, and so on.
This tells me I am content in life, and that I know I will continue to grow.
Slow or fast?
Everyday I wish time would go slower. There is so much I want to get done in a day. In life. I would love to be immortal. There is so much in life, so many different things I would love to do, so many paths to go down. The hardest thing I find about being human is having to chose a path because there is no way, not enough time, to do everything that one person could do.
So, yes, slow, stop time and let me experience everything.
I think that sums things up pretty good.
Time to talk about my DHF, ListNerds and highlight some posts.
Some of you know that I have a DHF - Decentralised Hive Fund Proposal on the go for the Janeway Children's Hospital here in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Below is a screen shot of what you are looking for to support it, and were we are at with support.
I want to thank everyone that as supported so far and everyone that I know will support in the future. What else can you do beside support it with a click? Write about it, talk about it, reblog it. ;)
Thank goodness for weekends, as I talked about above I wish I could stop time to get things done. I got all my emails checked, read, voted for today. Some left overs from yesterday, 2 days ago, 3 days ago and upto 4 days ago. Caught up now. And man o man did I get to read some fantastic stuff. Like me joining this challenge. Before I get to that let me have a look at some ListNerds stats.
My unstaking experment.
There is a 10 week or 70 day unstaking time on ListNerds, I am into day 20. I am unstaking upto 75 Nerds a day with a max of 50 percent of my daily earnings. Most days I am earning 200 or 300 plus nerds. Since I started only 2 days I could not get the max of 75. So in 50 more days I will start to get a daily liquid amount of Nerds. Then I have to decide what to do with them.
This leads me into an interesting post To Listnerds or not to Listnerds? by @bozz. A lot of fantastic ground covered here and I think for the newbie it is a must read. One thing that stuck out to me was:
"It's not a pyramid scheme
That's my other hesitation point with Listnerds. It isn't a pyramid scheme, but there is a bit of a multilevel marketing aspect to Listnerds. You can add people to your downstream so that you get some benefits from each person they bring on and each action they take. Not so bad if you are one of the people at a top level, but likely more frustrating for people lower down.
It's not necessarily a bad thing, but there are a lot of negative feelings towards this sort of structure. It could be a big turn off for potential users of the platform. That being said, if you are interested in checking it out. You can use my referral link here. Shillers gotta shill right?"
I personally find the multilevel marketing aspect of it as a bonus. It gives me that little extra push to talk about it. And I get so excited when I get an email telling me someone signed up on my referral link. And even more excited when I get earnings email. Where I get paid money!!!!
This post is getting long. lol. A few more posts to highlight.
Thirteen Nerdy Beasts by @jimmy.adames. It always fantastic to get mentioned. It is even more fantastic to see someone give praise to others.
The Best Crypto Investment ISN'T CRYPTO by @ironshield. I just love reading others peoples perspective on things. It gives me pause for thought.
And in the theme of this challenge: My most valuable asset: Time @thisismylife gives a great post about time.
