What's up growers? Do you ever like to get cheap grow equipment? Well, let me tell you about how I love to go to a local thrift store and flea markets.
When it comes to growing cannabis it can take a few items like fans, lights, tents, pots, and the list can go on. Well, I am here to show off a few things that I have picked up.
The first thing that I want to show off is the sweet book I saw. I never ended up buying this book but I thought it was a sweet-looking book for collectors.
You can see from these photos this book was written back in 1958 but this was the 1996 revision. High Cuisine The Cannabis Cookbook. I found a recipe for some Refried Beans and corn Bead. I love me some Beans so this was the one I pick to share. you can find the whole recipe in the photos below.
The second thing that I want to show I did buy and will now be keeping my eye out for more. This 60 HPS (High-Pressure Sodium) light is going to be a great addition to my grow tent.
I was talking with @jonyoudyer over in Canna-Curate discord that I think for a cheap low cost set up you could run 4 or 5 of these and end up lighting up a 2x2 with 280watts. With no need for a ballast, it is really cost-effective.
The third thing that I was able to find is going to help me come summertime. When we hit around 30c with 100% humidity my grow area is in and around 32c and almost always have to leave the tent door open.
This arctic air is a small tiny portable air conditioner that also helps humidify that area. Now cause this is going in a 2x4 tent I think it will work great.

With that information, I really think us growers could do out part to get cheap items and upcycle used items for our grows.
I know from experience that you can find some great growing treasures and with grow becoming legal in more places you can be sure to find more.
I also got this fourth item that was bought more for nostalgia value than anything. This light bulb with what I have been reading is what an old-style Edison bulb looked like. I will not be using this more be a display as I don't think many people know what old bulb looked like.
The total was a great deal for the 4 items I have shown I only bought 3, Kind of wish I would have bought the cookbook.. From now on I think I will be buying cannabis books and start and cannabis memorabilia collection.
