Honestly, I have no idea why people that have been here for a very long time. Just write in their little circles. They know full well that they were initially hooked because of post rewards, so why wouldn't they support new users because it supports the entire Hive ecosystem to bring on board and retain people? Even if you were worried about scammers, it doesn't take much to do a little research and have a bit of trust. Mind you when I am busy I can't be bothered and just comment on the people I know so I'm guilty also I suppose haha

Indeed! I think we all need to break out of these 'circles' and spread our attention and votes out across multiple accounts.
Even if you were worried about scammers, it doesn't take much to do a little research and have a bit of trust.
What does a small upvote and a short welcome message hurt if a couple of them are scammers.
I'm adding newbies to a dedicated PeakD list, so I can keep following them. You'll see their behavior soon enough.
