impressive. I live just down the road in Chiang Mai but i have never been to these places. I really should get out of my neighborhood a bit more frequently. :)

        Thanks GD! Yeah, an impressive place and worth a look. As I say, Chiang Rai has a little less going on than CM (from what I saw) but a few days there including the white temple is a good idea. Is CM still a great place to be based longer term?
