The hard part, however is to get accepted there as for most of my newer projects there's little activity.
In my experience with Adsense, once you get an account, it's very easy to add extra sites, as long as they have enough content. But that might have changed because I know that Google keeps changing the rules.
Anyway, I have very little traffic to some sites, but still earn the occasional penny.

Thanks for your input! Recent attempt to scrobble.life returned "content value low", which makes sense since it's mostly links and very few reviews yet. So planning on changing that a bit moving forward.
Yeah, quality content matters and enough of it. I've been penalised for that before so I don't switch ads on until I've got 50ish pages. The good thing is that Google are usually quick to respond when you resubmit.
