A.K.S Continental
Auto Kraft Shells in the UK were a coach works company formed by Sturgeon & Powell in the late 50’s producing fiberglass roadster & coupe bodywork for the popular Austin 7 & Ford 8/10 chassis and running gear/engines.

The styling appears very similar to the 1958 Alfa Romeo 2000 spider.

The company only appears to have been active between 1959-65 during which time appx 400 ‘shells’ had been produced of the two-seat MK1 & four-seat (with hard-top) MK4.
