Who in the right mind will put a blue color background signboard behind streetlights, and added with bunch of colorful running lights that blocked the panel board? That's right, the genius Chinese that does that. Not only that, they even plant trees right infront of the shops to block the restaurant from people seeing it.

Sorry if you find this annoying, but I like to tell stories, especially on introducing how we discover the restaurant. Our friend @honoru is coming in from Hong Kong, so I drove to @tanlikming's house, ditch my car at his house and he drove us to the meet.

Despite being a well developed country, in the main capital of Malaysia will also have it's less iconic and still under heavy construction older area. After an hour and a half, we finally managed to meet up and decided to visit the dodgy end seafood restaurant.

How dodgy was it? This place was surrounded by old buildings, and those buildings are mostly clothing warehouse. During the day, the place is jammed up with lories, trucks and entrepreneur from around the country shopping for their merchandise. Unless you're a local' local from around this area, otherwise Google may send you straight to the near by gutter. Since the restaurant is hiding behind trees, and the signboard were so low, and the street light infront is totally offsetting the signboard brightness. We passes by this place twice and finally manage to track it down(yeah like the restaurant have legs).

Let's get down with the first dish we had here, the very innocent mixed vegetable stir fry, came with carrot, beans, celery, fungus, mushroom, lotus root. Note that there are small slices that looks really dirty, those are sliced dried scallop. Trust me, if you're on a budget trip and more health conscious, this dish is a must since it's lightly salted and easy to go down with rice.

Followed by deep fried pork belly with onion, chilly paste and finally dipped in sweet sauce. If you're a beer person, grab a beer and pick this to go with the beverage is an awesome idea.

Since @honoru doesn't eat fish, we asked for a smaller fish, steam cooked with sweet, sour and spicy. I know many country doesn't really eat spicy food, even if they do, blackpepper is already the heavy side. This, steamed together with chopped chilies.

We have also oyster omelet egg. How does it taste like? Nah... it's absoltuely nothing compare to the one in Penang I introduced you before. But hey, this is Kuala Lumpur, we'll have to travel 3 and a half hour to get to Penang. So, we will just have to make do with our limited time.

We also ordered two different plate of noodles so we could share. Frankly speaking, their fried noodles are a little too "normal" despite they look good, but it's just not as what we expected. Taste is alright, but it's normal.

And here is Michael @honotru and @tanlikming. I did thought of WeFie, but I'm just too lame on that, and I don't want to spoil it . We finishes almost everything on the table, almost. towards the last few bites, we really can't push anything in anymore and finally call it aday.

Me and @tanlikming split the bill. Imagine, that much of food, it only costs us 140. Was it cheap? Not really, come on man, this is Kuala Lumpur. Individual dishes are really good, except for a fact that this is a seafood restaurant, ordering noodles are proven to be stupid. I'd say the pricing is very-very reasonable. Not to an extend of "cheap". It's just very affordable.

If #tasteem referring weekly choice is about what's good in this week, then I'm telling you this suits just nice for weekly visiting place.
