Yes I strongly agree, bank are some sort of thieves. My experience, I lost 153,530 Philippines peso or an around $3000 early this year and it took me 3 months to get it back.

That 3 months is not easy since I need to prove that I didn't withdraw that money and the worse of all they required me to submit different type of government clearance. From Police clearance to NBI clearance.
