What is different about blockchain, especially one like Steem, is that is it not going away.
Im betting on that being the case. As you mentioned, people are powering up. I can say that i doubled my SP in the last 3 months and the more i powered up the better i started doing on chain engagement-wise and payout wise. And i am someone that a lot of influential people here personally dislike and my content while similar in topic, isnt "higher tier", like yours for example.
With the market being like it is, a lot of people are demotivated, my feed feels emptier but if you indeed think that Steem is here to stay then this is the exact time to take advantage of the scarcity of content and engagement.
There are a 2 things you would as someone thats a part of the community, i think, want to achieve when you decide to give Steem a shot.
- Get your voice heard and have people care about what you have to say. They can dislike what you have to say or like it. It doesnt matter. As long as it means something to someone. That is essential for anyone on any social media platform.
- Earn something for your time and effort.
Is this the best time for it, or is a better time when theres thousands of people talking about the same thing and your posts getting lost in personal feeds, your comments lost in hundreds of comments.
Im not saying the drop in engagement and posting is in any way good, but it can be an opportunity for people.
