Splinterlands (Steemmonsters) second Kickstarter ends today 11/07/2019 but if you hurry you still have time to make a pledge and be rewarded with all sorts of different goodies which may include but not be limited to A Book, Stickers, Physical Splinterland cards and digital UNTAMED booster packs.
You can see the unofficial Timer below. Once it hits 0 the Splinterlands kickstarter will be closed and you would have missed out on a potential huge opportunity to be one of the early adapters of the Splinterlands universe.

This isn't the first Kickstarter the Splinterlands team put on. The Previous Kickstarter introduce the very first set of cards called ALPHA. It was structured in a similar way as today's Splinterlands Kickstarter is with different pledge levels available, each level offering different goodies in return for donations/pledges.

As you can see the first Kickstarter was not only a success for the founders of the game but was also a massive success for those who participated in it. With returns of up to 5 times the amount of pledge amounts it sure makes it tough for me not to invest in the second.
The previous success of the first Kickstarter doesn't guarantee ROI on the second (current) Kickstarter but it is something to consider when deciding if we want to make a pledge or not.
Making My Pledge
After much debate I took the plunge today and pledged at the $205 level. You may be asking,"But RentMoney, What took you so long to pledge"?
In all honestly I was debating if I wanted to pay with crypto or fiat. I decided my crypto was much more valuable to me when compared to my fiat so today I finally made the decision to invest with fiat and keep my crypto.
