People that don’t follow cycling closely, mostly don’t understand how much a team effort cycling is.

Today in the first uphill finish of the Tour de France, Wout Van Aert showed the perfect “assist”.
He, the winner of Strade Bianche and Milan-San Remo did an incredible effort uphill to smother all the opponents of his team mate, Primoz Roglic. Nobody could attack the pace Van Aert held in the last kilometres of today’s stage. Roglic answered beautifully by winning the sprint, and finished of the team work!
