Weights: 16th June 2020 + A Did You Know Question

Good Morning

Today, I had planned to go out for a jog but was raining in the morning. So, I decided to stick to my home exercise regime. I am warming up to the idea of going for a run soon; rain or otherwise. Let’s see.

So, let me get talking about my today’s morning regime.

Having taken a break of Sunday, I thought of starting with abs on Monday, and today I once again focused on abs, albeit, the second version.

The second version of my abs regime is in the quadruplet form, and here is how it is:

  1. 1-set of stomach vacuum
  2. 1-set of reverse crunches
  3. 1-set of weights for lower back and hamstrings
  4. 1-set of glutes

I did a total of three quadruplets. It is just a week since I discovered the stomach vacuum exercise but find it to be quite effective. I think everyone should try it.

Anyway, that’s it from me for today. I will see you soon.

Namaste!

Also, I wish you all a great day!

Did You Know?

George Hood of the US holds the record for abdominal planks. The record stands at 10 hours 10 minutes. The previous record-holder was Mao Weidong of China, who held the plank position for 8 hours and 1 minute.

Phew, even the previous record-holder wasn’t bad, in my opinion. My longest plank so far has been for a two-and-a-half-minute. That’s tiny in comparison to the record holders.

What was your best abdominal planks time?

Let me know in the comments.😊
