Good Morning
And what a lovely morning it was today! I loved the early morning tea just before my meditation. I had a lot to accomplish yesterday, and I was glad that I could do it. Today too seems to be loaded, and I am certain that I will get through it.
It’s three days since I went out for a run, and the difference is already visible. It is always fun to see yourself getting further toned. So, what did I do today?
For the first part, I did my run. This time I utilized the flyovers over the 3 km stretch. Which means I was going up a flyover (elevation) four times in all. So, while the distance says 3 km, the workout was more intense considering the flyovers. What I loved was the fact that my time was still as good as a straight run. That’s good news!
The second part was my abs and waist workout at home. The focus was on breathing and how well I could hold on to my position. It was cool, and it looks like I may get on with weights sooner than later.
So, that’s it from me for now. I will meet you all tomorrow.
Namaste!
Also, I wish you all a great day!
Did You Know?
George Hood of the US holds the record for abdominal planks. The record stands at 10 hours 10 minutes. The previous record-holder was Mao Weidong of China, who held the plank position for 8 hours and 1 minute.
Phew, even the previous record-holder wasn’t bad, in my opinion. My longest plank so far has been for two-and-a-half-minute. That’s tiny in comparison to the record holders.
What was your best abdominal plank time?
Let me know in the comments. 😊
